Four Rivers and GE Healthcare promote efficiency in biomedical equipment management.
Successful partnerships with Four Rivers
Pittsburgh, PA July 31, 2011 – Four Rivers Software Systems, the leading provider of comprehensive maintenance management software solutions (CMMS) for the healthcare industry and GE Healthcare, a unit of General Electric Company (NYSE: GE) have completed the integration of TMS and GE Healthcare's CompreCare service solution.
Managing medical assets continues to be a challenge for healthcare organizations. The Four Rivers collaboration with GE Healthcare helps to mitigate some of these challenges by automating the flow of service data. The integration allows the flow of data, including status of work orders, priority level, location, asset details, as well as repair details, from a GE supported mobile computing device to TMS. Organizations that implement the interface will benefit from a reduction in data entry, a reduction in time spent answering calls regarding status updates, and an increase in technician productivity as they now have more time to complete asset repairs.

The TMS application from Four Rivers sends the work orders to the biomedical department and technicians using GE integrated mobile devices manage the repairs, close out the work orders and each night the two systems synchronize the critical data.
